Nippon Yusoki developed Japan's first electric forklift trucks, and since then has been specialized in small and medium-type electric forklift trucks and automatic guided systems, mainly targeting the domestic market. Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks has concentrated on small to large-scale engine-powered forklift trucks, primarily in Europe and North America.
