China mold maker and decent steel with the correct hardness and a design that was guided by your mold maker in China, then you will have a good mold. At the end of the day, you can adjust all parts of your recipe for cost effeciency and timing, BUT NEVER the Moldmaker. without the mastery of this key element, you would be dead in the water.
