The D-Max is equipped with a host of added safety benefits, including dual SRS airbags, energy absorbing front section and side impact anti-intrusion bars on all doors.
A brand new cabin structure, pre-tensioning seatbelts and speed sensing automatic door locking provide even greater protection.
The all-new D-Max also offers extra assurance from the Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Traction Control System (TCS), Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) and Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Brake Assist (BA) which ensure full-braking during an emergency.
Additionally, the all-new Anti-Whiplash front head restraints reduce impact and injury in the event of a rear-end collisions

Stylish Exterior
The aerodynamics of modern vehicles is an important feature as it has a high impact on fuel economy and performance, as well as cabin comfort.
The design of the new D-MAX was tested for aerodynamic efficiency in various wind tunnel test facilities around the world, including the Japan Railway Research Institute, where the Bullet Train was tested. ISUZU also used the wind tunnel facilities in Europe, which tests the aerodynamic abilities of the world’s “super cars”.
New Design Cabin Roof, Side Panel and Doors
The new D-Max features a flatter roof to reduce wind noise in the cabin when travelling at a highway speed, and increases occupant comfort.
Power Foldable Side Mirror With Signal Indicators*
The side mirrors is adjustable to ideal viewing angle and can be folded when parked. Signal indicator provides safety to other road users.
New Rear Step Design*
The new rear step design incorporates a flat, wide non-slip upper surface to improve convenience and safety.

Utilising the Projector Ellipsoid System which gives 14% better illumination than the ordinary multi-reflector, the light beams are focused and shine further, so approaching objects can be spotted earlier.
LED Brake and Tail Lamps**
The new D-MAX features the largest in class rear lamp clusters. The combination of LED tail lamp and brake lamp provides brighter illumination especially during daytime.
