The digital, analog or pulse count data measured from sensors can be logged into the internal non-volatile memory at the configurable sampling frequency. At the event of alarm condition or scheduled report submission, data can be sent to data service center and mobile users via GPRS and/or SMS. Under normal operation, logged data can be sent on configurable periodic interval in hourly, daily, weekly or monthly setting. The scheduled reporting will also serve the purposes of health check or automated wireless configuration updat by the data service center. If there are no activities in inputs detection, sampling and no GPRS/SMS connection, the device shall be in deep sleeping mode to conserve the battery power.
