Applications of Optical Glass Lenses

Fiber Coupling:
Zero Working Distance: Rod lenses with a 0 mm working distance are ideal for collimating single and multi-mode optical fibers. The ability to position and glue the lens directly to the emission source ensures optimal alignment and efficient light transmission.
Collimation: These lenses are particularly effective for collimating light emitted from optical fibers, ensuring that the light travels in a straight path with minimal divergence.

Laser Diode Beam Shaping:
Zero Working Distance: For laser diode applications, rod lenses with a 0 mm working distance can be placed directly on the emission source, providing precise beam shaping and collimation.
Small Working Distance: For focusing applications or when direct contact with the emission source is not possible, rod lenses with a small working distance are available. These lenses can be positioned at a slight distance from the source while still maintaining high performance.
